Yolo Group has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Lara Falzon as CEO of its B2B divisions. This encompasses the aggregation platform Hub88, the live casino provider Live88, the sports betting platform Odds88, and the mobile-focused game studio OneTouch. The announcement, made on July 11th, represents the second significant C-suite addition this year, following the appointment of Jean Claude Magri as CFO in January.
Falzon’s extensive experience in the gaming industry includes her previous role as CEO of AvatarUX, as well as senior leadership positions at Bragg, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, and Evoke. Her appointment underscores Yolo Group’s commitment to global expansion and technological advancement within the B2B sector.
In a statement, Falzon expressed her enthusiasm about joining Yolo Group at a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory. She highlighted the significant opportunities for innovation, collaboration enhancement, and market expansion on a global scale.
This leadership change coincides with Yolo Group’s ongoing efforts to expand its B2B reach. The company is actively investing in product development and forging strategic partnerships tailored to specific markets. Demonstrating a commitment to responsible gaming practices, Yolo Group joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) in 2024, proactively addressing regulatory changes, particularly in Brazil, where integrity compliance is a licensing prerequisite.
Yolo Group’s operations extend across numerous market segments and jurisdictions, including Estonia, Malta, Australia, and Guernsey. Jose Micallef, CEO of Yolo Group Middle East, praised Falzon’s extensive industry knowledge and proven success, emphasizing that her leadership will be instrumental in Yolo Group’s continued growth.
The company anticipates further product releases and geographic expansion in the latter half of 2025.
